KHR is currently supporting a leading freight solutions specialist based in North Kent who is looking to hire a Freight Account Manager to join their dynamic and successful sales team.
Responsibilities of the Freight Account Manager
Client Relationship Management:
– Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their freight and logistics needs.
– Act as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
Sales and Business Development:
– Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base
– Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
Quoting and Pricing:
– Provide accurate and competitive freight quotes based on client requirements and market conditions
– Negotiate pricing and contractual terms to achieve mutually beneficial agreements
Collaboration with Operations:
– Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of shipments and timely delivery
– Address and resolve any operational issues to meet client expectations
Contract Management:
– Negotiate, review, and manage contracts with clients, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
