Job Description:

As a Freight Inside Sales Administrator, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining long-term relationships with clients. Your responsibilities will include overseeing a portfolio of assigned customers, generating new business from existing clients, and actively seeking opportunities with potential new clients. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in the freight forwarding industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop relationships as a lead point of contact with existing clients, ensuring their freight needs are met efficiently.
• Generate new business opportunities by identifying and approaching potential clients.
• Utilize your knowledge of sea freight and air freight import and export processes to provide comprehensive solutions to clients.
• Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).
• Employ sales skills to produce and present quotes to clients through video presentations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations, grow opportunities and provide customer satisfaction.
• Actively contribute to achieving sales targets and objectives.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in the freight forwarding industry.
• Excellent knowledge of sea freight and air freight import and export processes.
• Solid experience with CRM software / Freight Forwarding software.
• Familiarity with international Incoterms and HMRC regulations.
• Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.
• Video presenting skills for online quotes and client presentations.
• Ability to transition from an operations background to a sales role.
