Air Freight Operator

We are seeking a dedicated Air Freight Operator for our Logistics team who can effectively manage freight operations and ensure smooth delivery of services. This role involves overseeing Air Freight shipments, liaising with carriers, and ensuring customer satisfaction in Bradford.

Description

As an Air Freight Operator you will work on the Bradford site and have the following areas of responsibly:

• Overseeing and managing Air Freight operations effectively including pricing, quotations, bookings, customs and end-to-end Air Freight servicing.
• Handled a variety of shipments across various INCOTerms.
• Providing customs documentation along with HAWB and MAWB.
• Communicating with carriers and handling freight negotiations.
• Ensuring timely delivery of shipments.
• Maintaining and updating shipment records.
• Resolving any issues relating to freight operations.
• Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Providing excellent customer service to maintain client satisfaction.
• Contributing to the team's continuous improvement efforts in the Logistics Department.

Profile

A successful Air Freight Operator will report into the Air Freight Manager in Bradford and should have the following experience;

• 2+ years' experience in Air Freight operations and/or freight forwarding.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to liaise effectively with carriers.
• Excellent customer service skills to maintain client satisfaction.
• An ability to work well within a team environment.
• Commutable to the Bradford area.
