Learning Support AssistantRole:

• You'll work closely with individual students or small groups, providing help tailored to their specific needs.
• For students with physical disabilities or medical needs, you may assist with personal care tasks such as feeding, toileting, and mobility support
• Some students may require extra support in managing their behavior. You might implement strategies outlined in behavior plans, provide reinforcement for positive behavior, and offer redirection or de-escalation techniques when necessary.
• Maintaining open communication with teachers, parents, and other professionals involved in the students' support network is crucial.
• As an advocate for inclusive education, you'll strive to create a supportive and accepting school environment where all students feel valued and included.

The successful candidate will:

• Have previous experience working as a learning assistant within an educational setting.
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• Demonstrate empathy, patience, and resilience when working with students facing academic or behavioral challenges.
• Hold relevant qualifications or training in education, childcare, or a related field.
