Exciting Opportunity for a French & Spanish Teacher in Watford
GSL Education is currently seeking a number of passionate and dedicated French & Spanish Teachers to join our client schools in Watford. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students and share your love of languages.
As a French & Spanish Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging French and Spanish lessons that cater to the needs of all learners.
- Creating a stimulating and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for languages.
- Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and supporting students in achieving their full potential.
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and enhance the language curriculum.
- Encouraging students to develop their language skills and cultural awareness through innovative teaching methods and activities.
- Maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and fosters a love of learning.
Candidate Qualifications and Attributes:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching French and Spanish.
- A strong knowledge of the French and Spanish curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians.
- A passion for languages and a commitment to helping students develop their language skills and cultural understanding.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Dedication to ongoing professional development and a commitment to inclusive education.
You must be in possession of an enhanced child only DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
