Salary: between GBP60,000 and GBP80,000 depending on experience plus car allowance and bonus

Main duties:
To lead and manage the sales team to ensure sales targets are met and exceeded as well as to ensure customers within the European sales territories are acquired and provided with outstanding service

The role:
- Develop sales strategies ensuring these are successfully executed
- Be responsible for the growth and expansion of the customer base within Europe
- Understand customer needs building strong relationships presenting products and services as needed
- Be in charge of direct sales for the European Territories
- Increase sales opportunities through proposals and presentations
- Be responsible for all cost evaluations
- Liaise with internal departments to ensuring effective and efficient sales
- Continuously evaluate sales performance which include sales calls and supporting the sales team
- Maintain agreements with distributors and agents within your territory
- Provide detailed sales forecasting and reports to management
- Continuously research and maintain knowledge of products, market trends and competitors
- Participate and attend event and tradeshows

The candidate:
- Fluent in French essential
- Fluent in either German, Italian or Spanish beneficial
- Degree educated
- Experience in Sales working either as a Sales Executive or Sales Manager needed
- Experience in leading or managing a team necessary
- Background in the food or packaging sector a huge advantage
- Proven track record of increasing sales and exceeding targets
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate and present
- Ability to problem solve, prioritise and motivate
