Start Date: Immediate Start / Part-Time (Minimum 3 Days)

Salary: £100 - £150 per day

We welcome applications from Learning Support Assistants and Higher-Level Teaching Assistants with over 5 years of educational experience. Candidates should demonstrate fluency in French and possess intermediate proficiency in teaching and conversing in Spanish.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

TeacherActive is excited to partner with a mixed co-ed school in search of a dedicated, long-term French Teacher. The school boasts an 'GOOD' rating from OFSTED, convenient transport links, and onsite parking facilities. The appointed French teacher will play a pivotal role in enriching the Modern Foreign Languages department across three Key Stages, embodying the school’s ethos and vision, staying abreast of educational advancements, and upholding high teaching and learning standards.

This permanent position initially focuses on Key Stage 3 (KS3), with potential extension to Key Stage 5 (KS5). Responsibilities include exam preparation, fostering a career-oriented mindset, and promoting employability skills. Additionally, the successful candidate may contribute to the school’s science curriculum, maintain subject expertise, and support student standards academically and personally.

The ideal French Teacher will possess:

• QTS with specialization in Modern Foreign Languages (Experience in French and/or Spanish)
• Experience teaching French, Spanish, and/or German up to Key Stage 5 (KS5)
• Exceptional classroom management and presence
