Fresh Food Production Section Leader
Based at our state-of-the-art distribution centre on the outskirts of Preston, James Hall & Co. Ltd. have been established for

About the Role
The Production Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the daily production operations meet established quality and standards.
This position involves overseeing the production team, conducting checks for health, safety, and food standards, and ensuring
compliance with regulations.
What will I be doing?
* Oversee the production of products according to the product assembly manual and quality procedure manuals.
* Perform daily health and safety checks and conduct regular food standards checks.
* Monitor team members' performance to ensure adherence to standards.
* Complete all necessary paperwork, including Product Quality Assessments (PQA's).
* Supervise the completion of preparation area paperwork (metal detection, packing, temperature checks).
* Address employee concerns and complaints professionally in accordance with company policies.

We’re looking for someone with a background in food manufacturing, pays attention to detail, effective communication, and can work
under pressure.
* Excellent planning and organisational skills.
* Decisive action in important situations, quick problem-solving in production.
* Knowledge of computer programs, including Microsoft Office and other production-related software.
* Attention to detail.
* Effective people skills for addressing employee concerns and complaints professionally.
* Strong leadership abilities to motivate and create a positive working atmosphere.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
* Must be able to multitask, work on own initiative, and be a team player.
