Position:Front of House Assistant
Location: Cultra
Hours: 26 Hours per Week, Days of work to be determined, 9:30 am to 5:30 pm
Duration: Until end of March 24
Rate of Pay: £10.94 Per Hour
Duties Include:
As a Front of House Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in creating a positive and customer-focused experience for our diverse range of visitors at Cultra. Your responsibilities will span the welcome area, admission point, orientation points, and the shop. Serving as the first and last point of contact, you will act as an advocate for the museum’s purpose and values.
Desired Skills:
- Experience in a busy, customer-focused environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous cash handling or retail experience (desirable)
- IT skills for using till points/EPOS system or ticketing system (training provided)
- Passion for engaging with diverse audiences
- Adherence to service standards of the business area
- Willingness to handle queries and be the first point of contact for verbal visitor feedback
Essential Criteria:
- 2 GCSEs, including Maths & English graded A to C or the level 2 equivalent.
Successful candidates will undergo an Access NI check.
