Front of House Assistants play a key role in the delivery of a positive and customer focused experience. Working across the welcome area, admissions desk and retail areas, the role represents the first and last point of contact for visitors and is important in supporting our mission of ‘Here for Good.’
Across all key touchpoints, Front of House Assistants are responsible for optimising organisational sustainability and enhanced visitor engagement through active promotion of National Museums NI membership, map sales, retail sales and donations.
Front of House Assistants have a passion and enthusiasm for sales and visitor experience, with a clear understanding of the importance of the Front of House areas and how they fit within the visitor journey.
The successful candidates will work 20 days (150 hours) per year to support our key Event and Activation dates which includes weekends and bank / public holidays.

St Patricks Day:17th-18th March 2024
Easter: 31st March- 5th April 2024
Country Skills Day: 27th April 2024
May Day: 6th May 2024
Cultra Motorsport Festival: 8th June 2024
Folk Museum Making Festival: 17th-18th August 2024
Halloween: 24th October-31st October 2024
Christmas: Selected dates across 30th November- 23rd December 2024
