SalaryPavilion is currently working with a number of hospitality employers across Birmingham with up to 15 vacancies across the roles available below.
We’re looking for motivated and committed individuals who are currently out of work/receiving employment benefits to complete a two week employment and induction programme to prepare you for the hospitality sector, with the aim of securing work at a number of various events, both one-off events and continuous work. Hours are flexible, however lots of weekend shifts. Employees will need to be comfortable working in a variety of different venues/environments and be happy working in fast paced loud environments.
The Pavilion ‘JumpStart’ Programme
As a partner of the DWP’s SWAP programme, we work with employers across Greater Birmingham to help transform the recruitment process for key sectors by creating supported pathways for jobseekers currently out of work, but who are motivated to secure employment.
Our fast-track 2 week programme combines 1 week pre-employment training delivered from our Jewellery Quarter training centre by our qualified Skills Coaches, followed by 1 week work experience placement whereby the candidate will get hands-on experience and training within the hospitality sector. After successful completion of the programme, you are guaranteed an interview with one of these employers and there is a live vacancy for every candidate on the programme – your job is simply to show your capabilities and commitment in order to secure the position!
Job Type: Zero hours contract
Pay: £7.21-£11.43 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
