Front Of House Staff

Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Front of House member to join our team. As Front of House team member, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our customers. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:
- Greet customers as they enter the Alma Tavern and provide assistance as needed
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions
- Maintain a clean and organized Front of House area
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
- Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels
- Work with other team members to ensure smooth operations

Skills:
- Previous experience in a restaurant, food preparation, catering, or hospitality role is ESSENTIAL
- Knowledge of bartending techniques is advantageous
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and guidelines
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling

Pay: From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
