Front Office Sql Data Application Support Analyst - Commodities Otc Investment Bank

Essential - Strong relational database SQL skills are required. Experience of data execution and manipulation. Troubleshooting and Root cause analysis.

Investment Banking experience required. Experience of Trading applications and Front office. Commodities or OTC derivatives a plus!

Other skills:

• Good knowledge of script languages (Powershell, Python )
• Monitoring tools: Geneos, Graphana/Prometheus, Dynatrace
• Windows/Linux Servers administration
• Networks infrastructure/Security

Nice to have

• Experience on Dev/Ops environments.
• Knowledge on: IBM MQ/Octopus/Consul is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

As a member of the team, support the global commodities in house platform, critical for front-to-back functionality including pricing, risk management, trade booking, market data imports, p&l reporting, settlements, physical scheduling, trade confirmations and regulatory reporting and more.

Key daily tasks include:

• Fielding questions from all CIT personnel including traders, marketers, risk managers, and Middle Office and others
• Analysing and resolving production support technical and functional issues
• Proactively monitoring the system
• Incident Management
• Release management
• Participate to the platform improvement :

1. Monitoring
2. Infrastructure and Architecture
3. Obsolescence Management/Migrations
4. Bug Fix specifications and testing
5. Various tools development
6. First-line support rota, which includes an early shift for resolving overnight batch issues and late shift + on-call for overnight and weekend support.

Functional skills:

• Cleared and OTC products (Futures/Options/Swaps/Exotics).
• Good knowledge on Commodities activity
• Knowledge on pricing, valuation, and p&l.
• Front to back workflows and architecture.
• Market data management and providers.
• Settlement and invoicing.
• Regulatory reporting for commodities
• Confirmation process.
