Role Purpose
Travelex is seeking a skilled and passionate React Developer to join our dynamic team.
As a React Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining user interfaces for our digital platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create seamless and intuitive web applications, contributing to the overall enhancement of our customers' online experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable web applications using React
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design wireframes into functional components
- Implement responsive designs to ensure optimal user experience across various devices
- Work closely with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and best practices
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in front-end development, bringing innovative solutions to the team
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and other technical problems
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years experience as a React Developer with a strong portfolio of successfully delivered projects
- In-depth knowledge of React and its core principles
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with a solid understanding of front-end build tools and processes
- Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., Redux) and RESTful API integration
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies
- Experience with NextJS not essential but desired
- Experience with TailwindCSS not essential but desired
- Experience with Cloud CMS/Umbraco not essential but desired
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
