The role
As a Fuels Group Supervisor, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. The main purpose of this role is to carry out aircraft refuelling and airfield sweeping duties.
Day to day you'll process fuel accounting figures on various computer programs, as well as:
- Refuel various rotary and fixed wing aircraft and operating an airfield sweeping vehicle.
- The supervision and management of all Babcock Fuels Group staff in the absence of the Fuels Manager running the Fuels Group to ensure the smooth daily operation.
- Daily stock taking of aviation and ground fuels in the bulk fuels installation.
- Carrying out quality assurance tests on aviation fuel in accordance with MOD policies.
This role is full time and based onsite at RAF Northolt
Essential experience of the Fuels Group Supervisor:
- Previous supervisory experience / managing a team
- Knowledge of IT systems (Excel etc.)
- Previous aircraft refuelling experience (Desireable)
- Previous fuel tanker experience (Desireable)
- Previous fuel tank management experience (Desirable)
Qualifications for the Fuels Group Supervisor:
- HGV or C+E Licence
