Job description
We are looking for skilled Full Stack Engineers to join our dynamic team, supporting our rapid growth plans for Europe and the US and developing exciting new functionality for the next generation of our online software platform (SaaS). Your expertise and commitment will be key in driving our success as we continue to deliver value to our clients.
We use Node, React, MongoDB, Lambda and other AWS services such as DynamoDB, SNS, Event Bridge. All our new systems are built using Typescript and we also use CDK & SAM frameworks for deployment. For this role, you need to be proficient in using Typescript as well as some of the other named platforms although we do offer training opportunities to all staff including paying for AWS certification.

Responsibilities
- Work closely with members of the commercial, development and QA and support teams to understand requirements and develop specifications
- Identify and resolve bugs and vulnerabilities
- Develop new and enhanced functionality
- Develop engaging front-end UX components in React
- Securely support and extend APIs and other micro-services running AWS
- Develop well structured, commented code and unit tests
- Maintain and support legacy systems and services.
- Take part in daily stand-ups, sprint planning and sprint retro sessions

The Ideal Candidate
- Self-starter and problem solver
- Very strong TypeScript programming skills
- Solid understanding of asynchronous and functional design patterns
- Experience of working with React
- Experience of developing RESTful APIs
- An enthusiasm for new technology
- Experience of DevOps and Agile development practices and processes
