Maths English and Functional Skills Tutor - Sittingbourne, Kent
We are looking for an English & Maths tutor to work 1:1 with Secondary students to help further their education as they approach the end of their school lives, based in Sittingbourne

• Job Type - Part Time (Temp)
• Salary - £25 - 35 per hour

Roles and Responsibilities:
* Conduct 1:1 tutoring sessions in Functional Skills English and Maths for secondary school students.
* Assess student's strengths and weaknesses and develop customised lesson plans.
* Provide guidance and support in homework assignments, test preparation, and study skills.
* Create a positive and motivating learning environment that fosters student engagement and enthusiasm.
* Monitor and track student's progress and provide feedback to parents and guardians as necessary.
* Stay current with the secondary school curriculum and teaching methods to ensure effective instruction.
* Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student performance.

Qualifications and Requirements:
* Teaching certification or relevant tutoring experience preferred but not essential
* Strong knowledge of the Functional skills English and Maths curriculum.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, adaptability, and a passion for teaching.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students.
