Fund Raising and Events Officer
Type: Temp (potential to become perm)
Hours: Mon to Fri, 9am-5pm with flexibility to work the occasional evening and weekend
Salary: £12-12.50ph
Start Date: 28th May
Our friendly client based in Farnborough are looking to recruit a Fundraising and Events Officer. This is a temporary role with the potential to become with the right candidate. The working hours are full time, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm and you will occasionally be required to work some evenings and weekends. The ideal candidate for this role should be highly organised, IT literate, have good attention to detail and good communication skills.
Please note for this role you must be able to drive as their office isn't accessible via public transport and you will be required to attend their other sites and Events.
Main Duties
Support the Head of Fundraising & Engagement in developing and implementing fundraising strategy
Help plan, organise and implement an agreed calendar of fundraising events and activities
Coordination of the programme of volunteers
Overall delivery of the communications calendar
Maintain and build any supporter relationships
Research and identify potential fundraising events and activities
Project manage all stages of fundraising events from planning through to post-event evaluation
Keeping the website and social media pages up to date with relevant assets, information, event listings
Creating and updating content for relevant fundraising platform(s);
Ensure all processes are in place and up to date, including welcoming, induction and onboarding of volunteers, and maintenance of volunteer records
Coordinate with the PR & Engagement Officer to source more volunteers when required
