Are you a strong people manager who is Sales & target driven?
As the Events & Group Sales Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of reservations & event sales, focusing on maximising sales with accommodation and M&E revenue opportunities via confirmed bookings and enquiries.
What will I do?
- Work closely with the wider Sales team and other departments
- As a Sales team, you will set & deliver pricing strategies
- Maximise revenue
- Support the General Manager of the hotel with reporting on rooms & event sales as well as supporting with budgets and forecasting
- Lead & manage the performance of the Event & Group Sales team within the hotel
- Possess excellent knowledge of the The QHotels Collection portfolio
- Ensure customer expectations are met & exceeded
- Organise and conduct site inspections/show rounds
Is this the role for me?
- Previous experience within a sales, account management or business development role in a hotel or food & beverage environment
- Ideally, you will have proven people management experience in a similar role
- Will also consider individuals who have operational meeting & Events hotel management experience coupled with some sales experience
- KPI and target driven
- Ability to multi-task and manage the demands which come with a sales role
- Able to think outside the box and have ideas on how to maximise opportunities
