Salary: £20,500 - £21,500 pro rata depending on skills and experience (0.6 FTE)

Term: Permanent

Hours: Part time, 21 hours per week

Closing date: 21 January 2024

Interview date: 29 January 2024

We need to create a wilder Hampshire and Isle of Wight. Wildlife is in freefall both locally and nationally and, to get nature on the road to recovery, we need everyone to take action.

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate administrator to join our friendly and enthusiastic Marketing & Fundraising team. This person will support the Trust’s fundraising efforts, ensuring a professional and efficient approach to our work to generate income and steward our supporters. The successful candidate will provide essential administrative, data, financial and stewardship support for our team, helping us to maintain our excellent levels of supporter care.

We are looking for someone with strong verbal and written communication skills to provide exceptional customer service for our supporters, with the ability to handle various administration and data processing tasks on a daily basis.

We are looking for candidates with:

  • A proven track record of both inbound and outbound communications with customers.

  • Sound knowledge of good customer service processes.

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Demonstrable evidence of openness to change, flexibility and a willingness to learn new ways of doing things.

If you would enjoy being a valued member of a dedicated team, are passionate about nature, and want to develop your skills through hands-on experience as well as training and mentoring, this is the opportunity for you!

We are happy to discuss the possibilities of hybrid and flexible working

This role will be based at our office in Curdridge, however, we are happy to accommodate a hybrid working routine, and discuss a pattern of work which suits the candidate. This role is part time, 21 hours per week. Traditionally, office hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm with an hour lunch break. However, many of our staff work flexibly and we are happy to consider flexible working hours for the right candidate.

We offer a wide range of benefits including a competitive salary, generous annual leave allowance, a contributory pension scheme, life assurance, learning and development support, 24-hour access to our employee assistance programme and more.

To apply for the role, please complete the online application form. In the ‘supporting information’ section, you will need to demonstrate, with detailed examples, how you meet the job requirements using the attached Recruitment Pack.
