Fundraising Event Manager

Are you an experienced fundraiser based in the Cambridgeshire area? Harris Hill are delighted to be exclusively be partnering up with a homelessness charity based in Cambridge who are looking for a new Fundraising Manager to join their team.

The role will be part of the Senior Management Team (SMT) and will lead the charity’s corporate, individual and community fundraising. Their SMT consists of the Chief Executive, the Finance Manager and the Services Manager. The Fundraising Manager will maximise their fundraising income streams, with a strong emphasis on securing new corporate partnerships and maximising income from existing and new Fundraising Events.

Grade and salary:                            £38,215

Hours:                                                  Full time or Permanent  

Contract type:                                   Permanent

Responsibilities within this role:

• The Fundraising Manager will line manage the Communications Lead, overseeing all external communications and will represent the organisation at a wide range of events and media opportunities.
• Leading their fundraising strategy to achieve all fundraising targets from corporates, and individuals.
• Excellent stewardship of all their donors.
• Developing the charity’s Fundraising Events to appeal to both corporates and individuals.

They are now looking for someone with:

• Experience of securing and developing corporate partnerships.
• Extensive experience in delivering high quality stewardship.
• Experience of developing and delivering successful Fundraising Events.
• Proven track record of developing and delivering income generation strategies that meet or exceed target.
• Experience of financial forecasting using pipelines and budget management to achieve fundraising targets.
