Fundraising Manager

We are looking for a Global Fundraising Officer - Trust and Foundations, for a highly respected global environmental charity to manage a portfolio of donors and new prospects, making asks and securing six and seven figure gifts.
This is hybrid role based in London, offering hybrid, flexible working. This is a contract until December 2025.

The Role

As a Trusts and Foundations Officer, you'll manage an exciting portfolio of donors and prospects, with capacity to give £10,000 or more. You will be helping launch a new capital campaign seeking to raise €100 million to change the world.

Your priorities will be securing capital campaign pledges for six and seven figure multi-year gifts, and soliciting gifts specifically to support work happening in global priority countries. You'll be developing relationships with these crucial funders and actively trying to reach new prospects.

With the support of the Comms Officer, and working with international colleagues in global offices, you will develop bespoke funding proposals.
You will take on appropriate prospects and conduct additional research as required to prepare fundraising approaches., and identify areas of global work most likely to engage trusts and foundations according to their funding priorities.
Support a freelancer to manage the small trust programme.
The Candidate
Direct experience of preparing high quality, successful applications to Trusts giving £50K+ gifts.
A solid understanding of the principles of relationship fundraising/stewardship.
Direct experience of researching new trust funding opportunities.
Either experience of working on a major capital campaign, or of working within a complex global charity.
This role requires both internal and external relationship building, with a clear focus on meeting donors and prospects - in person, online, and through the UK events programme.
