Form of workOur client is a global charity dedicated to children's learning. They operate across 14 countries and this role is Head of Fundraising for the UK. Salary to £58k.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the role will be responsible for leading on community, mid and major donor fundraising and philanthropy for the charity. You will develop a successful strategic vision for their work in this area, leading on developing and coordinating fundraising campaigns, building, and developing their portfolio of major donors, developing a philanthropy pipeline and facilitating bespoke events, with the aim of generating substantial income in line with the organisation's budgetary objectives.
The role will have 5 key focus areas:
Fundraising campaigns and strategy (20% of Time)
Major Giving and Philanthropy (50% of Time)
Major donor events development (15% of Time)
Contribute and support global and UK team (10% of Time)
Perform Other Duties as Assigned (5% of Time)
Key experience required:
Undergraduate degree from a relevant university program or equivalent work experience
Working in a fundraising role, working on fundraising strategy and successful campaigns.
Experience in managing relationships with a range of major donors, including high net worth individuals.
Experience developing and securing high value relationships and gifts.
Experience developing/approving reports and proposals for major donors and/or tailoring to a UK audience.
Experience representing an organisation with senior stakeholders.
Experience managing a varied workload and balancing conflicting priorities.
