We know so much about our community that we’re now ready to grow with a proactive, fundraising strategy to take our mission to the next level. That’s why we need you, our Fundraising Manager.
This position is key to the growth of Guts UK charity; attracting new donors to support Guts UK’s mission and ensuring they receive exceptional supporter experience, and in turn, optimising the value of our supporter database. You will be tasked with driving the development and delivery of a modern and robust individual giving strategy with a goal to deliver long term, sustainable income. You will be a lead fundraising voice for Guts UK, striking a healthy balance between risk and return on investment in new, proactive fundraising endeavours. You will join a proud, engaged and committed Guts UK charity team that punches way above its weight, and which has significant growth plans.
The candidate:
• You will have a proven track record of successful fundraising across the key range of income sources; individuals, community and events, in memoriam and legacies as well as significant experience and knowledge of company donations, trusts and foundations.
• You have excellent creative and analytical skills with a detailed understanding of supporter engagement.
• You will be a brave, bold and honest communicator, matching our values as a charity.
• You will be an engaging leader, motivating and inspiring the wider team and committed to providing the best possible experience for our fundraising community.
• You will be people-centric with a warm, engaging personality and exercise a keen attention to detail.
• You will be comfortable managing risk, instilling a culture of test and learn, using evidence and data to underpin fundraising plans and campaigns.
