Our Fundraising Support volunteers are involved in lots of activities from collecting donations to arranging and participating in events across the UK and virtually. If you are interested in meeting new people and supporting us to raise money, this opportunity may be for you! **We are looking for Fundraising Support Volunteers to help generate interest in their community in what we do and how others can help. Organise and support fundraising activities. Actively support and organise support and participation.** All day events are likely to be 1-2 times a year. Organisation and admin around these is likely to be some advance planning days then several days spread over a period leading up to the event. What you need; - Driving is preferable but not essential. - Use of own phone and laptop/computer - While driving and own computer/phone would be preferable this will depend on where you are located and the size of your community. **Diversity** Diversity is something we celebrate. As part of creating an inclusive space we have an expenses policy that prioritises volunteers not being out of pocket for expenses linked to your role. If upfront costs are difficult, you can speak to your volunteering manager about this to find alternatives. We welcome refugees, asylum seekers and others currently in the UK to volunteer with us. Tasks: Representing the Red Cross in your time, in your community
Generating interest in your community in what we do and how they can help
Supporting with fundraising activities (online and in person where available)
Actively supporting or organising support and participation at events and collections
Skills: Enthusiasm, organisational and people skills
An interest in meeting people from a wide variety of backgrounds
Own means of transport would be beneficial
