SalaryHoneycomb Jobs is delighted to be working with a charity sector client, to recruit a temporary full time Fundraising Assistant based in North Belfast.
The Client - Our charity sector client provides direct assistance to people with dementia.
The Role: Will assist the Fundraising team. Duties will include but will not be limited to:
- Process donations from both online and offline sources ensuring information is recorded correctly onto the CRM database.
- Ensure all donations are thanked in a timely manner across all income streams.
- Assist with fundraising campaigns including events, community, corporate and individual giving.
- Collate, prepare, and deliver supporter information packs.
- Maintain income and expenditure tracking and evaluation systems.
- Research and identify funding opportunities.
- Support volunteering activity within fundraising department.
- Always ensure compliance with GDPR.
- Follow Gift Aid processes and actively promote Gift Aid with donors.
- Office cash handling with regular banking.
- Be aware of support material levels and maintain adequate supplies to deliver fundraising activities.
The Person
As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience:
Essential:
- Demonstrable experience of providing successful administrative support.
- Previous experience of working in a busy administration department.
- Excellent written skills.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload.
- Experience of working with database or CRM.
- Self-motivated, solutions focused with the ability to use your initiative.
Desirable:
- Experience of using digital platforms.
- Experience supporting volunteers and a wider variety of donors.
- A clear understanding of dementia.
