This role is responsible for the delivery of finished products to the agreed quality and lead time required together with the management of the department, machinery and improvement developments.
Hours of Work and pay
- 7:30 - 4:30 Monday to Friday
- £14-£15 per hour - depending on experience
Main Duties
·Planning workload aligned to production needs.
·Resource management for delivery of plan.
·Quality assessment of pre-and post finished products.
·Supporting the sanding and filling cabinetry for next phases of completion.
·Operating as spraying expert.
·Spraying products with lacquer, prime paint and top coats.
·Managing safe storage and movement of products during the finishing operation.
·Training and development of apprentices.
·Organisation of products for efficient handling.
·Maintenance of spray shop machinery.
·Organisation of product documentation for safe usage and storage.
·Managing waste control and management of excess product.
·Development and operation of automated spray machinery.
·Planned preventative maintenance of machinery.
·Planning workload and delivery against targets.
·Advisory to design of finishing options and techniques.
