An opportunity to play your part – As the Fusion Delivery Lead, you will be entrusted with the critical responsibility of orchestrating the seamless execution and timely delivery of projects and services within our organization. This senior leadership role demands a harmonious blend of strategic planning, expert project management, and adept team leadership to ensure the achievement of successful outcomes. Collaborating closely with a diverse array of stakeholders, I strive to align project goals with our organizational objectives, optimize the allocation of resources, and uphold unwavering standards of quality and efficiency throughout the entire delivery process.
The Day to day
- Join as the Delivery Lead within the Fusion team, a core platform in Centrica responsible for customer creation, product sales, and finance operations.
- Ensure constant availability of the Fusion platform and facilitate cross-selling of products across different brands.
- Focus on enhancing the efficiency and seamlessness of the customer experience, enabling agents to drive the right actions the first time.
- Foster active engagement from team members throughout the delivery process, spanning development, design, testing, and more.
- Receive support from the seasoned engineering team to gradually build domain knowledge over time.
- Play a central role in the technical delivery process by collaborating closely with product teams.
- Contribute significantly to Centrica's overarching strategy through active involvement in daily operations.
- Participate in hackathons both within Centrica and with partners like AWS and Datadog, working on innovation projects.
- Influence and define ways of working for the team to achieve delivery targets effectively.
- Collaborate with Solution Design and Quality areas to influence and enhance delivery processes.

- Demonstrate a deep understanding of engineering best practices and advocate for continuous delivery.
- Show strong enthusiasm for crafting high-quality software and ensuring customer satisfaction within a fast-paced DevOps development squad.
- Enjoy collaborating and improving while actively contributing to wider communities of practice.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure technology aligns with both technical and business requirements.
- Champion continuous delivery, fostering a culture of learning and innovation within the team.
- Identify potential risks in technology decisions and proactively work to mitigate them.
- Possess excellent communication skills, effectively conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Be motivated by owning platforms and services, driving them from inception to continuous improvement.
- Seek learning opportunities to deepen expertise or broaden knowledge.
- Proactively engage in financial discussions, aligning technology decisions with the organization's financial goals and demonstrating a clear understanding of return on investment (ROI) for the team's deliverables.
