SalaryWe are looking for a contract FX Options , Risk and Pricing Business Analyst with a strong background in Options Risk and pricing to join our prestigious global Investment banks IT team for an initial 1 year contract. The ideal candidate will have trader-facing skills and a proven track record in project delivery. You will be working on our bespoke FX Options Risk system, which is integral to the daily operations of our FX option traders and risk managers. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, agile, and delivery-oriented environment.
Day to Day of the role:- Engage directly with FX option traders, risk managers, IT developers, and Quants to deliver project planning, analysis, and tracking.
- Provide critical production support and work on a mix of small projects.
- Analyse and improve our bespoke FX Options Risk system to meet the evolving needs of the business.
- Earn and retain the confidence of business sponsors in both front office and risk functions.
- Manage competing priorities under constant time pressure, ensuring timely and effective delivery of projects.
- Excellent knowledge of options pricing and risk, preferably FX options.
- Strong business analysis skills with a focus on financial markets.
- A solid understanding of market risk concepts such as sensitivities and Value at Risk (VaR).
- Experience working directly with traders, IT developers, and Quants.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a time-sensitive environment.
- Previous experience working on bespoke risk systems is desirable.
