The role

This is a rare opportunity to join Castle Fine Art one of the UK’s leading group of retail art galleries, with 37 galleries nationwide. Specialising in original fine art, hand-signed limited editions and contemporary sculpture, our ethos is to make art accessible for all.

As a Gallery Technician you will support the viewing, delivery and installation of our exceptional art in your region. This will include gallery hangs, offsite events and making personal deliveries of artwork purchased to qualified clients.

When in customer’s homes, you will act as an ambassador for the Company delivering excellent customer service at all times while ensuring that all artwork is always treated with the utmost reverence and is always handled, wrapped and stored properly. You will also be responsible for maintenance and upkeep of a company van through our service providers.

The must haves:

• Ability to effectively communicate in person and by phone.
• Confident, highly presentable and with an understanding of exceptional customer service
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during an installation
• Ability to use your local knowledge to plan your schedule for the day
• Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours when required
• Willingness to travel to different locations in the UK

This role requires a driving licence for a minimum of 2 years for the use of a company van for insurance purposes.

This role also involves physical requirements:

• Manual handling of different weights of artwork
• Ability to stand throughout the working day
• Packaging of artwork
• Using packaging materials
