Gardener/Landscaper

We are a small family run business providing gardening and landscaping services to the residents of Plymouth, Plymstock, Plympton and Saltash.
After a difficult winter, mainly due to the bad weather, we already have a backlog of work and are now entering our busy Spring period.
We are looking for staff who have genuine gardening experience - if your only experience is working in your own or the family garden, then this job is not for you.
We need to recruit new staff with experience in hedge cutting; who know their way around a long cutter, a scarifier, a brush cutter, strimmer and other power tools and who can cope with the heavier tasks of clearing neglected gardens and work as part of an enthusiastic team. Also an eye to detail is necessary to achieve the professional finish our customers expect and our staff need to be confident with weeding, pruning, trimming, shaping bushes and shrubs and lawn care.
We are also looking to recruit staff with landscaping skills and experience - who can assist in laying patios, paths, mix cement, do pointing, build raised beds and erect new and repair old fences.
We need to recruit staff who know what they are doing or who learn very quickly.
