Gas Compliance Officer
Location - Derbyshire
Duration - Temporary ongoing Contract
Rate - Negotiable depending on experience
Sellick Partnership are working alongside an established housing association within the public sector to assist with recruitment of a Gas Compliance Officer to carry out compliance checks and audits on void and tenanted properties
Daily duties of the Gas Compliance Officer:
- Supervise the annual gas safety checks, servicing and responsive repairs contract for the properties, to ensure compliance with the contract conditions, legislation and good practice guidelines.
- To manage, maintain and monitor the gas service database utilising your Gas Certification Qualification and experience and ensure that all gas appliances are serviced and repaired in accordance with the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998 and the clients' procedures.
- To survey, inspect, and provide documentation, in the form of schedules of works, dilapidation schedules, specifications and condition reports, relating to the improvement areas of the properties and associated land..
The successful Gas Compliance Officer will possess:
- Experience working within Social Housing (Desired)
- Holds an in-depth knowledge of gas health and safety regulations
- Must hold in date Gas certification
