Due to rapid growth and continuous success we are delighted to confirm that we are currently seeking a Gas Supervisor to join our Fortem team at our Birmingham South branch. We are looking for someone to take responsibility for leading and directing a team of tradespeople and subcontractors undertaking specified gas works.
The Project
You will be the first point of contact for trades for any technical issues that need resolving so a good understanding of building maintenance and Health and Safety requirements is key. You will need the ability to performance manage, coach and continue to increase the capability of the current team to achieve the best results within agreed time frames to deliver a great service to our customers.
Essential and Desirable Criteria
The successful candidate will meet the following criteria: Essential Criteria • Good communication skills • Good leadership skills • Good dispute resolution skills • City and Guilds qualifications to appropriate level • Current Gas accreditations – CCN1, CEN1, HTR1, CKR1 • DBS check to be clear Desired Criteria • Good understanding of building maintenance, central heating, and domestic appliances • MET1, WAT1 • IT literate • Housing experience • CSCS HAPS test certificate & CSCS skills card Fortem embraces diversity in the workplace and encourages applications from all sectors of the community.
