Your new company
A private fee paying Primary School based in North Birmingham, is looking for a temporary to permanent School Caretaker.
The role is to start ASAP. The hours will be 10am - 6pm.
Your new role
You will be carrying out general caretaking duties which will include opening and closing the premises, basic maintenance/repairs, emptying bins, checking stock and restocking domestics/hygiene. The role will also include health and safety checks of grounds and opening and closing of the site.
Please note that duties would also include driving the school 16 seater minibus a few times a week to escort children to activities so you must hold the relevant driving licence.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience ideally of working as a caretaker within a school or similar background. You also need to have a recent enhanced DBS check and experience that Hays can reference.
