Role: Gatehouse Night Security Officer

Location: PE12

Pay rate: £11.44 per hour

Shift times: 12 Hour Night shift

Shift Pattern: Tuesday to Friday night (18:00-06:00)

Role Overview

Due to continuing expansion, my client is recruiting a gatehouse Security Officer fantastic team. Working within a number of high-profile corporate/horticultural buildings, your primary role will be to ensure the security and safety of people and client assets.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Ensuring safety and security of our clients building and assets by carrying out all duties in full adherence of site Assignment Instructions
• Ensuring all deliveries are recorded on the PC and given the correct instructions.
• Writing complete and accurate Incident Reports and taking appropriate action as required on all reports.
• Working as part of a team to deliver excellent security and customer service.
• Coordinating activities between the client, contractors and visitors
• Directing visitors
• Liaising with emergency services and other third-party organisations
• All required paperwork and documentation are complete for all visitors and contractors

Qualifications and Skills

• The successful candidate will have a current SIA licence in an appropriate sector.
• Officers are expected to have a professional appearance and bearing at all time.
• Must have good understanding of Excel spreadsheet and using a PC
• Excellent communications skills and flexibility towards working hours.
• You must also be a responsible and trustworthy individual who takes pride in your day to day work.
• You must also be a proactive team player.
• Security must have valid SIA license with more then 9 months till expiry
