We are working with one of the most prestigious TOCs in the UK, who specialise in train travel from Scotland and the Northeast to London. They are now looking for a Gateline Assistant to join their team based at Kings Cross Station.

The Role:

As a Gateline Assistant, you will be at the forefront of passenger interactions, providing information, assistance, and ensuring a warm welcome for travellers. Your responsibilities include helping passengers with journey enquiries, ticket information, and providing guidance on train times. You will also play a crucial role in ensuring passenger safety while operating the station barriers.

Hours wise, you will be working on a 20-week roster that works on a Sunday - Saturday basis. For early shifts, the very earliest you will start is 05:55am and for late shifts the latest you'll finish will 20:05pm. On average you will work 35 hours a week.

The Company:

The company you will be joining runs some of the highest mileage routes in the UK. They operate a fleet of 200+ trains and operate over 50 stations across Scotland, London, Northeast England, Yorkshire & the Humber, East Midlands and even the East of England.

Remuneration & Benefits:

This rail company has on offer the following for temporary staff:

* �13.25p/h rate
* Possibility to go permanent after 6 months depending on performance

Requirements:

* Be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol test
* Provide your Right to Work documents before deployment
* Happy to help mentality/attitude
* A decent fitness is needed as the role will involve a decent bit of walking, so please keep this in mind when applying
* Flexibility to work weekends
