We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated English & Maths Tutor to provide personalised tuition to a Year 11 pupil, aiding in their preparation for the upcoming GCSE exams. This part-time, short-term role is an excellent opportunity for a tutor passionate about making a difference in a student’s academic journey.
Day-to-day of the role:- Conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions in person, focusing on GCSE exam preparation for both English & Maths.
- Develop engaging, interactive sessions and learning activities tailored to the student’s needs, incorporating regular breaks to maintain focus.
- Assess the student’s progress and adapt teaching methods to maximise learning outcomes.
- Provide feedback to students and parents/guardians on achievements and areas requiring further attention.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or significant experience as a Tutor.
- Proven track record of teaching or tutoring the UK English & Maths curriculum up to GCSE level.
- Ability to create a supportive and motivating learning environment.
- Reliable mode of transportation to ensure punctuality and consistency.
