GenAI Platform Architect & Security Lead.
Are you a Lead Architect/Security specialist with a knowledge of and passion for GenAI looking to take that next step? Aviva is creating a completely new CIO Gen AI Platform team, responsible in delivering a state-of-the-art Gen AI platform that provides a common framework to architect, build, test, deploy and run Gen AI capabilities and services that can be easily leveraged for use within a variety of business and technology use cases.

A bit about the job:

The role is one of several other GenAI roles that Aviva are creating for a new team! As part of the role, you be responsible for the architecture and design of GenAI capabilities across our business. As the GenAI Architect you will liaise with software/data engineers, business teams, product owners and senior stakeholders to help deliver a range of world class robust, scalable, GenAI capabilities. You will also work directly with our enterprise architects and all GenAI vendors/CSP’s to align on product roadmaps and drive future capabilities based on business requirements and industry direction. You should be able to prioritise features and capabilities for creation/modification​ and be continually keeping abreast of latest advancements.

Aviva operates a “smart working” policy meaning that we spend approximately half of our time working in an office this role is based in, Bristol or London.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Excellent Systems Architecture and Engineering principles and techniques and DevSecOps covering distributed systems principles with microservices for large workloads, Integration/API first, data engineering.

  • Cyber Security architecture, design and implementation.

  • GenAI architecture, design and delivery experience (i.e LLM’s and RAG integration, GenAI services/use cases/orchestration, Prompt Engineering, Security, Responsible AI, LLMOPs).

  • Excellent skills within; AWS (EKS)/Azure, Python/Java, Problem-solving, and critical thinking.

  • Excellent communication skills, adapt at establishing positive senior stakeholder relationships, providing technical leadership and direction whilst driving change.
