THE OPPORTUNITY
We have commenced our search for an experienced General Manager to lead the team at Ibis Budget Heathrow T5. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of unparalleled guest experience within our branded environment, while also driving the commercial success of the business.
You will be tasked with immersing yourself in the local corporate market to capitalize on sales opportunities in a competitive market. Your strategic acumen will be crucial in maximizing revenue, effectively managing occupancy rates, and fostering growth in the food beverage department. As a real ambassador for the guest journey, you will uphold brand values and service standards with consistency, creating a professional yet welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
We are looking for a General Manager who can lead by example and cultivate a culture of excellence, actively developing out talented team at Ibis T5. Your leadership will be instrumental in achieving performance across key metrics including profit, development, and RGI.
KEY COMPETENCIES
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry, preferably within a branded setting.
- Strong understanding of guest service principles and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Demonstrated ability to drive commercial success through effective sales and revenue strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
- Knowledge of local corporate market dynamics and experience in developing relationships with key stakeholders.
