General Manager

We're looking for a General Manager for a fantastic community style pub in Norfolk. Salary up to 43,000 plus bonus and a generous benefits package.

Marston's is one of the UK's largest and most beloved pub chains and today, we operate more than 1,300 pubs, bars and hotels. Now, we're on the lookout for a great General Manager to take charge at the Thatchers Needle in Diss and lead the team to success!

About the pub

The Thatchers Needle is a lovely village pub in Diss, Norfolk, just 5 minutes from the High Street.

Delighting guests with our Signature food offering, The Thatchers Needle proves popular with locals and is currently trading at an average of 21,000 per week in net sales.

Located opposite a lake and overlooking a beautiful green, the Thatchers Needle is a high-performing site within the area and is currently beating its sales budget as well as having a strong senior management team in place. This is the perfect opportunity for a General Manager to showcase their skills and continue the success of this business.

We are looking for an enthusiastic leader, with a passion for driving sales through engaging with the local community and inspiring the team.

Due to popularity within the local community, the Thatchers Needle boasts a strong lunch-time trade and offers a General Manager opportunity to drives sales further through local events and sales driving activity to further maximise the potential of the business.

Management accommodation is available in the form of a 3 bedroom flat, directly above the pub.
