Pay: £35,000.00 per year

With an eye-catching and attractive layout, Funzy is an indoor inflatable theme park and soft play specifically designed so that it is suitable for all ages and fitness levels for family fun.

We are now recruiting for a General Manager to run our centre. You will have a proven and successful track record in running a large indoor entertainment/recreational centre, skilled in sales and marketing. You’ll be given monthly and quarterly targets so it’s essential to have high passion for quality and excellence by setting clear targets for your team and achieving high operational and financial standards through effective team working. Consistently demonstrate our core values (Fun in all aspects) to team members and guests. Motivate the team and drive the culture within the park and other sections. You will take responsibility for ensuring that high levels of customer satisfaction are achieved by delivering outstanding hospitality and service.

In addition to day to day operational accountability, play an active role in seeking innovative ways to further develop the business and shape future success and a major contributor / influencer to the strategy of the Senior Management Team.

Responsibilities:

• Administration, including rotas and management system, compliance with Health and Safety, recruitment and training, documentation and evaluations.
• Maintenance of the park and the building and health and safety
• Managing agreed budgets of controllable expenses and wage costs, alongside determining and implementing strategies to increase year on year sales and to achieve agreed gross profit margins.
• Reporting back to directors on weekly basis.
• Review monthly sales figures to show performance against budget.
• Maintain cash security and cash handling in accordance with standard.
• Development and implementation of the marketing plan and calendar, including up-sells, outreach activities and corporate business portfolio
• Schedule regular meetings with the management team and team members to assign targets, provide updates, conduct training, request feedback and share new information.
• Other duties as assigned

Experience:

• Senior management: 3 years (Required)

Education:

• Diploma of Higher Education (Required)
