SEF is well established as a UK market leader and sells predominantly into the event and exhibition sector.
However, we have a strong desire to expand into other markets and we already have a growing customer beyond our core business.The PackageCompetitive Salary + Bonus25 Days holiday + Statutory (an extra day of holiday added to your allowance each year you're with us, up to 5 extra days, this is after 2 years’ service)Executive Company CarPhone and laptop24/7 access to a doctor via phone or web camThe RoleOverall responsibility for the financial and operational running of SEF, including overall UK & NI Sales, and in emulating and driving the core values of SEF across all areas of the business by setting the benchmark and leading by example.Manage, measure and work towards all key business KPI’s, to include, but not be limited to: Sales, Stock Control, Cash Flow, Profitability and Staff Retention.Help prepare and oversee Sales and Financial Budgets, and conduct monthly financial reviews, ensuring all cost areas are managed in an efficient and resourceful way.Oversee all sales operations, managing key accounts as may be appropriate, including travel to visit customers and accompany the BDM on customer visits periodically.Travel to Head Office in Baisieux, France, on a bi monthly basis or as is required to attend sales and other meetings as may be necessary.Be physically present in the office 4 days a week unless attending HO, visiting conferences/customers, training or on annual leave.Represent both SEF and SommerNeedlepunch (SNP) in all appropriate UK markets by attending both domestic and foreign trade shows and expos. Engage in relevant industry associations and working groups in order to further the interests of both SEF & SNP, to
gain market intelligence and promote both businesses.Work with the BDM to formulate sales strategies and agree targets. Oversee and monitor the achievement of these and present to the Group Sales Team during meetings in Baisieux.Attend regular Teams Meetings with the CEO and/or Sales Director in order to update on SEF activity and developments.Oversee and participate as necessary with the recruitment process of all staff, including liaising with external recruitment and labour agencies. Working closely with the Ops Manager, effectively manage the team to ensure HR compliance, excellent customer
service and that the SEF values are maintained.Meet with/speak to and negotiate with suppliers to ensure the continuity, competitiveness and quality of products and services. Pro-actively explore alternatives and oversee any contractual obligations.About youYou should be an experienced leader with exceptional communication and influencing skills and have held or hold a senior management position.
