The Role:
As the General Manager - Plant Hire, your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing and developing a major hub plant location
- Day to day operational management of the business
- Growing and developing customer accounts, demonstrating a proven track record of increasing turnover
- Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety procedures
- Mentoring staff
- Building year on year to maintain flagship depot status
- Overseeing the rental business operationally in terms of profit and loss, asset management, and team motivation and mentoring
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for the General Manager - Plant Hire role will:
- Have experience in a managerial role, such as Senior Depot Manager, Depot Manager, Area Manager, Operations Manager, or Senior Manager in the construction Plant Hire or tool hire industry
- Possess a strong understanding of a rental discipline, such as survey, lifting, power generation, pumps, powered access, plant, or tools
