Bar, Club & Night Venue General Managerwith experience of supervising a high-volume beverage operation, managing, developing and motivating a large, diverse team including door supervisors, stewards, first aiders, team leaders and bar staff, who has high standards of customer care and great planning and communication skills is required for a variety of night-time venues which provide a unique environment and fun social experience for its members.
Candidates will need knowledge of Health and Safety, Licensing Laws, Food Hygiene and be SIA accreditation and be able to demonstrate how you have applied this in a similar setting.
SALARY: £30,349 - £35,150 per annum + Benefits (see below)
LOCATION: Hybrid Working - mostly office/venue based inCoventry, West Midlands with 1 day per week working from home/remotely
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
WORKING HOURS: 36.5 hours per week averaged over 52 weeks that will include evenings and weekends. Flexibility is required to meet the needs of the business which will require some longer shifts

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Bar, Club & Night Venue General Managerwith experience of supervising a high-volume beverage operation, managing, developing and motivating a large, diverse team including door supervisors, stewards, first aiders, team leaders and bar staff, who has high standards of customer care and great planning and communication skills.
As the Bar, Club & Night Venue General Manager you will lead on the delivery of high-quality venue and bar provision and lead and manage the security provision putting safety and legal obligations at the forefront of all operational activity.
Working as the Bar, Club & Night Venue General Manager you will assist in driving promotion of all venue and bar activity, contribute to the development of new income streams and help maximise ticket sales and event financial contributions.
The Bar, Club & Night Venue General Manager will be responsible for all aspects of service delivery, hygiene, product quality, safety, licensing and financial performance and will also recruit, develop, lead and retain a motivated and engaged staff team.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Essential
- Experience of supervising a high-volume beverage operation
- Experience of managing and working with Door Supervisor Teams and companies
- Experience of monitoring, managing and utilising CCTV systems
- SIA accreditation
- Experience of training and developing staff
- Experience of leading and motivating a team
- Food Hygiene Knowledge
- Knowledge of Health and Safety and Licensing laws
- Demonstrates high standards of customer care
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Attention to detail
- IT Literate in Microsoft suite
- Experience of stock management
- Knowledge of EPOS systems
- Experience of handling cash
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to use initiative and make decisions
- Flexible in working hours
