Hours of work:
7.00am - 5.30pm Monday to Thursday

Key responsibilities:
- Demonstrate good safety behaviours in the workplace
- Prepare parts/metal and components for the painting process – including fettling, filling, sanding, and smoothing surfaces that need to be sprayed, part identification, interpretation of job packs, labelling and palletising parts when necessary.
- Assist in general production, including preparation of parts, loading and unloading of painting booths.
- Complete quality checks in line with company processes; visually inspect work for pinholes, runs, bare spots, proper coverage.
- Ensure optimum use of materials within your control to minimize scrap / wastage
- Complete maintenance tasks and fault diagnostics of equipment related to paint prep operations as required.
- Work to agreed output targets and deadlines, ensuring internal customer orders are produced on time and in full to required quality standard.
Preferred
- Experience in a high volume, fast paced manufacturing / industrial environment.
- Flexible to further develop and enhance skills through a range of both wet paint and powder coating processes and products.
