General Practice Assistant, Alton, Medium-Sized Firm, £25K-£28K

Your new company- Their client list are predominately based within the surrounding areas across Hampshire and Surrey and they have interests and memberships in common with many of our clients.
- They believe that talking to your accountant should be a pain-free experience and pride themselves on getting to know their clients so that we can advise them from a position of privileged knowledge.
Your new role
- This role is for a proactive general account assistant with the aim to move into a part qualified / client management position in the future.
You will be tasked with:
- To communicate with clients via phone, email, social media and in person, including chasing records
- To support Client Managers/Accountants onboard new clients and integrate them into their portfolio - this will include bookkeeping, compliance etc to then be handed over to the relevant department.
- To complete, review and prepare book-keeping, VAT returns and CIS. - To manage and maintain your professional development and learning including any relevant CPD required by your professional body.
What you\'ll need to succeed
- 1-2 years practice experience
- ACCA/ACA Part qualified
- Strong client engagement working on a diverse range of clients
- Locality to Alton happy to attend office 3/4 days per week
