The post holder will develop specialist frailty knowledge required to support the management of complex and challenging presentations of frail people and the post will prove extremely varied and rewarding. The post holder will also be able to contribute to service development, local clinical pathway development and implementation for people living with frailty and engage in audit and quality improvement initiatives. The post holder will be actively involved in training junior doctors (including GPST trainees) and advanced clinical practitioners. The Trust has a state-of-the-art Simulation and Skills Facility which is accessible to students and staff. Should the successful applicant wish to develop a research interest then this would be encouraged.
