We are currently recruiting for a General Service Assistant to be a part of our integral team at Queen Elizabeth Barracks, Strensall, York, YO32 5SW

What you'll be doing

• Serving customers and providing them with the best customer service
• Cleaning main restaurant area
• Operating the till and handling cash, including following cashing up procedures
• Working dinner functions, approx 1-2 per month
• Bar work (must be 18+)
• Client focus – providing excellent customer service at all times
• General cleaning duties of FOH and kitchen areas etc. This includes vacuuming, dusting, polishing, mopping, pot wash.
• Clean back of house and front of house service areas to support delivery of services
• Preparation of any other public facing areas as required including set up for hospitality events

Experience

• DBS to be completed
• Previous customer service experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given
• Must already have or be willing to obtain their Food Hygiene Level 1 via our online e-learning centre.
