We are looking for permanent machine operator to join our production team.
This is a days-based role working 8am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday. The role offers varied tasks and a great range of benefits including potential career progression.

Job Opportunity
The aim of this role is to be able to operate 2 machines, high speed converting lines and a rewinder, with full training being given. To ensure efficient operation with minimum wastage.
main duties
- To operate the rewinding machine, converting parent reels from 1 ply product into 2 ply.
- Making sure product is made to the right specifications and to the right quality.
- completing and maintaining production logs on the pc.
- booking in reels onto the SAP system to ensure they are dispatched correctly.
- moving reels via FLT into the correct warehouse.
- complete housekeeping audits using CMS system on handheld device.
Essential Skills
Forklift truck experience is desirable.
NVQ level 2 or equivalent in Maths and English
Basic IT skills and experience with microsoft office.
Previous experience in manufacturing or production, or as a machine operator in an FMCG environment is desirable but not essential.
experience of maintaining high standards and carrying out quality assurance testing is desirable.
