We're currently offering an opportunity for a Geography Teacher to work full time in a School in Ilkley for 3 days in Week A and 4 days in Week B.
The school is based in Leeds and offers a welcoming, fun, and kind staff who are dedicated to giving their students the best education they can get. They value success and prosper as a hardworking, secure, and civil community.
Requirements of the job:
- An enhanced DBS on the update service
- QTS or a degree qualification in teaching (PGCE)
- Strong knowledge of the subject curriculum
- A great work ethic
Your responsibilities will include:
- Setting, marking and giving feedback on work/homework
- Safeguarding children
- Lesson planning to ensure the curriculum is covered sufficiently
- Monitoring students progress
